Vicinia wants to increase the “capacity of neighbourhoods”: the ability to meet each other, work together and set a common agenda. Vicinia is a non-profit funded by private partners, but works independently from these partners.
One step in reaching this goal is to create an atlas of neighbourhood initiatives, and describe them according to a common framework, grounded in social science research. For this atlas we would like to re-use existing data as much as possible, improve its quality, and link it to other quality datasets.

I know that the presence of the private partners can make some people uneasy, so feel free to ask about that. They are:

Vicinia has an important atlas of neighborhood initiatives in Belgium, we should work to integrate them to IN COMMON.
