Licensing information

IN COMMON software is free software released under the terms of the GNU Affero General Public License version 3 or any later version. The SPDX notation is: AGPL-3.0-or-later.

Under this license, you can:

  • use the software for any purpose
  • study the source code
  • distribute the original code as you wish
  • modify the code and publish your modifications under the same licensing terms

If you host the code (Software as a Service), you MUST provide access to the source code, including your modifications. That way, all our code benefits to all people, and remains under scrutiny of the public for better maintenance and security standing.

You’re welcome to discuss here the licensing terms and any issues you may find in our source code related to licensing. There’s a related Licensing issue in our code repository.
